| Kali Mur | white, clear mucus |
| Kali Sulph | yellow mucus |
| Ferrum Phos | infection / inflammation |
| Hepar Sulph | yellowy green thick mucus |
| Calc Carb | lots of clear or yellowy mucus |
NOTE: The colour of the phegm / mucus in the nose and chest will always match.
